We stopped here for a late lunch as we drove into Shanklin, it was only by chance is it looked pretty form the outside. There is a large car park next to place. All the tables are spaced around the garden and you only go inside to order food and drink. You can't book here, it's only if there is space avaliable. The food came pretty quick after ordering and it was very nice. It's a great place to kick back and relax. From here you are about 15min walk down to the beach.

Must eat here! The cream tea is truly delicious! The scones were sooo good! The best I've had on the Isle! I will be returning next year.
Beautiful place. Sat outside to eat, because of corona, but not a problem, wooden tables placed with plenty of space between them, umbrellas provided for the sunny day we went. Food was delicious, so nice in fact we made a return visit. The lady of the house was very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended if you can get in there.
Love this place. Lovely food and great service. They are great with allergies too which is really appreciated. Outside area has seats in the sun or shade as you prefer.
Friendly, family run pub in the heart of the lovely Old Village in Shanklin. Lovely surroundings which has the atmosphere of a traditional country pub with well kept gardens. Excellent food which offers extremely good value for money together with a welcoming and friendly service from all the staff. Has the added bonus of a tourist information point and shop offering souvenirs and some locally made handicrafts.
