One star is extremely generous. A terribly run practice, where profits seem to come before patients. Aggressive and overly defensive receptionists (rather than the expected tenacious and 'happy to help'). The GP's place several layers between themselves and the patients, making it difficult to be seen by. In order to receive a telephone consultation, you're expected to phone between 08:00-09:00. However, you could be waiting for a call all day. Test samples aren't always interpreted in a timely manner - so you could be waiting for days for a call back, unnecessarily. The practice is rooted towards the bottom of the local GP league tables with good reason. My advice would be to find a practice that is capable of meeting your requirements at times of need. Time and time again, this practice has let me down. Despite being in a great location, the practice is an all-round disappointment, based upon my own experiences and the very public shortcomings as reflected in the local media and discontentmemt of numerous patients.

I have only been registered with Shanti Medical Centre for few weeks, during that time I have been very impressed with every aspect of the practice. The Reception team are amazing and very helpful .They are always positive and wanting to help. Professional, courteous, friendly. All the office staff are of the highest calibre and exude the exemplary qualities of a practice that others could learn from - the best GP practice in have ever had the pleasure of being associated with and the practice manager is very helpful especially loved how Dr Qashif Rizwan Mehraj really took his time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. has really put me at ease so I highly recommend this GP practice

Absolutely joke this GP, keep away if you want to survive, they’ve failed me several times now, and keep cancelling my appointments. The only good this about this GP is the chemist, they’re fantastic and lovely people, which I will still go to. But please stay away from this GP, Harold shipman comes to mind, so run while you can......

Absolutely appalling customer service, especially from reception staff minus Sophie. Very rude and arrogant, refused to admit her numerous mistakes and kept insinuating i was to blame!! Will definitely be losing more patients
