I love this place! Even though I don’t frequent it a lot, it is one of the most beautiful areas surrounding London. Be warned that there is a very attentive Conservation Officer in the area and he will issue warnings of you don’t pay quite frequently.

I love coming here with my dog to take him for a swim. Beautiful pond for fishing or canoeing/kayaking as well. Dogs must be kept on a leash, and swimming for humans is not recommended. Parking is 5 for the day, or you can get a Lower Thames parks pass for 60. Parking is very close to the pond, and there is a picnic table and a bench overlooking the water. The weekends are busy, but weekdays are nice. There is a dock for ease of boating, and my dog loves to jump off of it.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I live in Delaware, have fished this body of water my entire life and already pay alot of tax dollars to the municipality. Having people pay for conservation usage on Springer rd was the first red flag, the second, was putting up NO PARKING signs along the Carriage rd point of entry. While ice fishing at the carriage rd entry point, a conservation officer told me \you are not allowed on this body of water unless you access the conservation through a designated point of entry\(aka the paid parking on Springer rd). Therefore, this place is now a joke and are only looking for more money. . With all the tax dollars/ paid parking over the last 2 years, I have not seen any improvements to facilities, fish stocking programs or wildlife rehabilitation. Does anyone agree?

Discovered this place recently after cycling by for years. Been out with our new inflatable kayak twice now and it’s a great place to spend a couple of hours. Spotted herons, turtles, fish jumping and up the end of one inlet saw a beaver swimming around. Many fish jumping, but no luck with the pole, this time. Great spot to launch kayak, small dock is ideal, sometimes gets too busy later in day. Enjoy. There are trails on other side and one picnic table.

One of my favourite places to walk. A quick 2km trail next to the Creek.
