I make this place my stop everytime I visit moose hill wildlife sanctuary. I love it! I always pick up a sandwich, some baked items and browse produce and the other assortment of items they carry. Highly recommend it!
Went for pick your own blueberries, flowers, and cherry tomatoes on a Sunday afternoon. We bought the pick your own containers and ented\ cutting shears for the cut your own flowers for 10 - once you're done just bring them back to the cashier and they'll give you the 10 dollars back. Blueberries are picked within a short distance of where you buy the containers at the white tent. However the path to the blueberries and the blueberry area itself is not very stroller friendly. The blueberries are delicious and within 4hours of leaving, our entire container has been eaten!! Cut your own flowers was a great experience with my 6 year old daughter! You buy a small Mason jar, rent the cutting shears, and go have fun! There's a few varieties with different color flowers. You can also buy Sunflowers by the stem. The pick your own cherry tomatoes were delicious! Once we were done outside, we went in their little grocery store. They have some great produce and some of the best corn I've had. But this is why I'm not giving them 5 stars and only 4, the customer service was lacking. There were many what seemed like college kids running the entire farm. I ordered a sandwich and stood there watching two employees talking while making my sandwich. It took 10 minutes to make since they were taking their time and not concentrating on doing their job. It was a good sandwich, I just feel like management needs to be better. Still will go back!
The apple cider donuts are incredible. Fresh produce and pre-made foods. They even have their own hot sauce.
The produce here is the best around. Everything is clearly labeled by source, though the best is always Ward's Own, especially the sweet corn. Also a great place to pick your own fruit. And the sandwiches, smoothies and coffee are all excellent.
