Don't listen to Jerry Smith. Why? Because Freeman Motorworks is awesome. Not only do they answer the phone when they can, respond to messages if they can't, they call when they say they're gonna call and they do what they say they're gonna do. They just finished a job for me and beginning to end it was a pleasant experience. They did it all ahead of schedule and slightly under what they quoted me. Uncommon service like this deserves to be recognized. They make you feel like you and your business matter to them. Glad I ever discovered their shop.
I've been using Freeman Motorworks for quite a while on many repairs for my BMW 5 Series. Josh - the owner - is prompt, quick, knowledgeable, reliable and honest. His team works on various high end brands which makes Freeman Motorworks a very good alternative to resorting to the dealer and their insane costs. I am obsessive and extremely finicky with my Bimmer and can honestly say that I feel confident every time I drive out of their garage. He is excellent with communication as well and will guide you through the repair and pricing/quote process. Furthermore, their pricing and labor rates are significantly lower than the dealer. All other independent shops in the area - if you find any that can even perform quality work on high end vehicle brands - do not compare. Freeman Motorworks has an easy location on 309 in Dallas/Shavertown right across from the McDonalds. Just drop your car off the night before or in the morning. Most minor repairs can be completed within the day depending on part availability. Major repairs may be an extra day or two - no different from the dealer. Yes, the dealer has loaner cars but good luck getting one when you need a sudden repair. Next time your Bimmer, Benz, Audi, Lexus, Acura, etc. needs repair and you are out of the warranty window, don't let the dealer rake you over the coals. Give Freeman Motorworks a call. I don't think you will be disappointed.
