Darren attended to test our electrics at the home we had just moved into. He declared it unsafe and said he'd provide a quote for the work he'd need the carry out in order to make it safe and I have been chasing this and still had no response (since 14/12/20). We have since had another electrician out because further faults occurred and were advised it was dangerous and switched all our electrics off due to the level of risk. It's worrying to think this company left us using all the circuits in the house which have all had to be disconnected due to risk of fire etc. We paid 250 for his assessment and not given a copy of the report which would have been helpful for our second electrician. Very disappointed since this was a recommendation from a friend.
Excellent service from the lads today, this is the second time I've used Shaw Circuits and have booked another job in, always on time, polite and tidy, and I was super impressed with all the safety checks after having my new consumer unit installed today. I've had light fittings installed, light switches repaired, outdoor sockets fitted, and about to have a single socket replaced with a double. Very happy with the service, they are now my 'go to' guys for all things electrical.
This charlatan charged me 250 for a inaccurate assessment for problems he is not qualified to sort out. No report was provided, I assumed a full report would be given once the full works were carried out. Instead he ran away from the job after chasing him for over a month. That report would've been helpful for our second electrician (HPS, who is an actual qualified electrician). What has turned out to be a very expensive job has been made worse by this joker charging for absolutely nothing. DON'T bother with this cowboy. I wouldn't trust him to change a light bulb.

Excellent service from Darren! After being let down by BRITISH GAS to a Emergency we had with our fuse box on the 1st Feb 2018 just one phone call made and Darren was with us in less than 1hr and completed the work that day ️ That's service for you Darrens completed other work since for us with Excellent service. Recommended to family and friends already will always use Darren from now on for our Electrical work Darren you are a star !!!! Who needs BRITISH GAS THEY ARE A JOKE !
