I received a delightful box, beautifully presented, delivered to my door as a surprise from my daughter. The sandwiches were excellent, very fresh and tasty, along with fresh salad, fruit, scone, cream, jam, tea bag, drinking chocolate and variety of cakes, cannot fault any of it, l won't hesitate to visit the cafe when we come out of lock down. Thank you Rumour, excellent job.

Nice cafe, super friendly staff. Nice cakes and scones. Coffee was average. Should have gone for the nice tea selection. The club sandwich was a huge wedge, loads of tasty bread, but I expected a bit more from the fillings. The sausages and bacon are locally sourced from quality butchers. Toy station and play kitchen for kids and large changing facilities.
My mother attended a funeral yesterday and in light of the usual \wake\ not being done, she received a lovely bag of food inc the freshest nicest ham sandwich, a scone with clotted cream and jam, and a delicious cheese straw. It even had a little wine included, to take home and enjoy, in honour of and to raise a toast to, her dearly departed Aunt. Great touch, great service well done Cafe Rumour. ️
Lovely friendly people, and offering lovely drinks, sandwiches, cakes, etc. to takeaway at this time. Also, they are selling gifts on behalf of a friend, which are lovely. See their shop window.
Lovely quiet friendly oasis of calm. Great food, great laid back vibe and great staff on day we visited. Please DON’T add music as one person suggested. It is impossible to cater for everyone’s taste in music and what’s wrong with some chilled down time for once! Perfect just the way you are
