First and foremost the staff and members of the club welcome you with open arms and are very hospitable!! This is followed up by the best course I have played all year and one of the best I have ever played!!! Work is being carried out on some of the tee boxes and I would love to come back and play it when these are completed. The fairways are immaculate and the greens for October are in amazing condition! There are some very tough and challenging holes that really test your game. I found the greens to be very challenging to hit and anything that misses the green really tests your short game. If you enjoy playing different courses this course has to be added to your list!!!!

Beautiful and challenging course in fabulous condition. I'd recommend a day out here to any golf lover and look forward to visiting it again myself.
First time there - absolutely stunning conditions with beautiful views and incredibly tidy.
An excellent but tough moorland course - Off the back tees this layout will test even the low handicappers, especially if the wind is up. The tees, greens and fairways are all in great condition.
Should be in the top 100 courses in England
