Fished here on numerous occasions mainly from spring to autumn mostly in the Top pond ( use to be called the specimen pond ). Caught plenty of big carp, biggest 20lb worm in the edge (peg 5).Good head of tench,bream, crucians and roach can be caught in here.*sussed it out now that when weather is chilly, fish behind the island (far bank) but fish up to the sides of the island vegetation.All the usual baits work but the killer one is bread The other two ponds are mostly silvers and smaller carp usually F1s. This venue can get very busy mainly due to matches fished sometimes on all three ponds.Plenty of room on all ponds in the week.Tickets 7 and concessions available.Very badly potholed approach road and Car park. You Can park your transport near your peg (when not to boggy)cafe on site and toilets. The venue opens at 7.00 am closes at 7.00 pm in summer and 5.00pm in winter
