Nice Hidden gem of Sheffield. Lovely people and views. A good way to spend a couple of hours learning about history and enjoying the nature. The also have lots of activities for schools, kids crafts and even wedding events. To get there you can take the 120 bus.

An important part of of Sheffield's history. The Manor is only accessible through the Discovery Centre and visiting will cost you at least 3, though children are free. Relatively little is left of the Manor, apart from the ruined walls and foundations. There is not much to see for the price. The most impressive part is the restored Turret House, one of the locations where Mary Queen of Scots was held prisoner. However, this part cannot be accessed without a guide and will cost an additional 2.
Looked very interesting it is where Mary queen of Scots was in prisoned
Looks like the grounds need a good watering. Has potential to look much nicer. Also needs to advertise better. I stumbled across this place while looking for somrthing else on google. Definetly worth a visit though. Nice to have historical buildings on the doorstep
Absolutely brilliant place. Had a really good turnout for this event. The reenactments were really good and they all knew their stuff.
