I came here for the restaurant which is no longer there, i haven't been for a good few years. However the scenery was great by the lake.

Did a night fish was brilliant despite the rain
Caught a common carp just under 8 1/2 pounds and mirror at 5 1/2. Both on bbq spam. Not bad after a hard frost.
The pond is tucked away at the bottom of a housing estate, a stones throw away from the end of the canal at Kjs fisheries@ Killamarsh. The approach track is quite long, very narrow with a very steep incline down to the pond.We go in my mates 4x4, the terrain is undulating and not good for small cars in our opinion. The pond is a very good size, with a long strip island ,you can fish off the island, a metal bridge gives access to the island, with decent perch and chub hidding under the steel work The venue appears to be very popular with our senior citizen fishing brigade . The vegetation and alot of trees have been hacked down for some reason ,this in our opinion has took away alot of its character. Fishing wise the pond holds some nice carp,chub and perch in pristine condition .Several clumps of willow reeds are in the pond and are fish hidy-holes.Usual baits and simple rigs will do the business. We found it rarely gets over crowded and is monitored for anti-social behaviour. Usual fish friendly rules apply ,No Barbed Hooks Its defo worth a bash for a good day out
I didn't come here for the fishing so I can't tell you about that, but I can tell you the lake scenery looks absolutely gorgeous! I came for the restaurant which no longer exists. I've told Google this, but they are of course badgering me to review it anyway.
