It is rare these days to encounter above and beyond customer service. I have a client who was needing assistance with NJ Temp disability. They were not familiar with the laws and had an employee going out on disability. Their current carrier provided no assistance, I called a friend at UHC who referred me to ShelterPoint. I called the 800# and Ms. Rivera answered the phone (4:45pm EST, I'm PST). She asked how she could help. I explained my situation at which point, she could've said she couldn't help. HOWEVER, she instead sent me a link and said she would try calling someone in a different department that might be able to help. It was close to 5:00, so I may not hear until the next day. I was floored. She called me back in 5 minutes and said I could try this one other option. I was floored. She had no real reason to help, but she did and at the end of the day. I called the number she gave me and was able to get my client what they needed. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I wish I could give 10 stars!!
