When we arrived to our yurt was so beautiful and big. We got the grand yurt which came with two yurts together on the same porch. The staff on the phone in reservations said they where connected and that we could walk through like a hotel with connecting rooms but that's not the case. We have to actually go outside and walk down the porch to the next one. So I wasn't comfortable with the kids staying with that much distance from us. So we got out of that one and went to a cabin and it was beautiful just like the yurt. Pictures of the yurt and cabin. The staff was very nice and that made stay when better.
Pushy sales people and they will tell you anything to make you think it's the best thing since sliced bread.
We enjoyed our stay here at the Bluegreen Shenandoah Crossings Resort, Gordonsville, VA. The price was right but the place is a bit tired.
Always a nice a nice visit make your pool reservation in line before you arrive to make it easier. Take the horse drawn carriage ride for some extra info.
Finally found the place. Was told we could not enter through the gate. Went to parking lot at preview center and called. Spoke with someone I could barely understand. Was told they had availability which was great but then was told my husband and I could NOT enter the property for another 2 1/2 hours. Said we had to come back then!!! Where were we supposed to go? This is place was practically out in the middle of nowhere!! So, needless to say we said NO THANKS and drove home. I realize this was a spur of the moment reservation, but to be told to come back in 2 1/2 hours? Definitely a huge disappointment!! If I could give zero stars I would have!!
Nice resorts for family vacation or camping.they have different style of resort selection. One of my favourite is the yurt
