This place is now called Beauty in the Park but is at the same location. I went in last minute for a trim and some light layers and was told that they could fit me in. So I went it, and I straight up told them that if were too busy not too worry because I did just decide to get a trim last minute. But the owner (also the lady who cut my hair, who was very nice by the way but was rushing me) had a story about how she doesn't like turning away people because every penny counts in her business and she's got to pay the rent... ok. I did say that if they were too busy not to worry about it, I would've rather gotten a decent haircut than this. It was the most rushed haircut I've ever gotten. She was so rough with washing and brushing my hair, she barely separated my hair and practically started grabbing pieces and chunks and cutting straight across. I now have uneven, random straight-across chunks of hair allll over my head. Not nice layers, but chunks. I didn't notice how bad it was until I left and got a chance to straighten and dry my hair. I felt bad for calling in last minute at first, but now realized that if they were really that rushed I, 1. Shouldn't have been booked in for a 5 minute uneven cut to begin with if they really didn't have the time and 2. They should care more about the hair they are cutting rather than fitting in people when they can, giving them awful hair and taking their money. I know it was just a quick cut, but I deserved a better one. It's taken my whole life to grow my hair this long and now I have to pay someone else to get it fixed

Worst hair cut I've ever paid for.... My hair looked great, until I washed it. I left thinking the color and cut was great. When I washed it, my hair color was uneven, and my hair cut was like a mullet with sections of hair that wasn't even cut.
The new owner is very friendly. Took the time to listen to me and my son on how we wanted our hair cut. She did a fantastic job with both of our short hair cuts! We will definitely be back! Thank you!
Corinna-I couldn't wait to say how amazing you are and to thank you for making my girl's b-day a happy one. Beautiful colour and kept her long hair. I'll post a pic when we get one. You are truly skilled at what you do!! And to add- it was so so nice not to have a brutal bill to pay- thank you for being so affordable, it was a surprise and a pleasure.
I have been going to Chocolate Blue for over a year now and have always received a great haircuts and great service. I really like how the salon has such a friendly atmosphere. Yesterday Tia was able to accommodate me last minute and did a new style of cut which turned out to be the best haircut that I have ever received - ever! It is difficult to find a good stylist / salon, but I am glad that I found Chocolate Blue!

Amazing staff and service. Love the hair cut i got by Karen, came out just the way i wanted it to. The salon was clean and tidy. Wouldn't choose a different salon to go to.
