This is one of the busiest streets of Shillong lately. This place is the most popular place in Shillong. Almost everyone has heard of Police Bazar as it is a hub for clothing, food court, shopping malls and hotel. You can get shoes and slippers at a good price if u are good at bargaining. There are a lot of eateries to pamper your tastebuds. Do visit this place once.

The best market I ever have been to. Although heavily crowded at normal times, it's a beauty to be enjoyed. You can literally get 'anything' at police bazaar and I mean it. Except the most wanted rice beer, for which you have to reach smit. You have to be careful while bargaining. Some shop owners tell you the final price initially and you shouldn't bargain anymore, else you will face their 'wrath'. From street food to Italian delights, almost any type of food are easily avilable here at best prices. Also, it is a well connected place and you can hire a cab here for the trip.
