The service was great. It was only 20000jpy for one night for two( in may) , without meals. You can reserve private bath if you don’t have one in your room , but staring from 11pm to morning it’s free. You can just go check if someone is bathing or not and use it when it’s empty . They change the public bath at 12am. both wonderful. Pool 30degrees in winter , the sauna is fancy . I liked the Massage chair. Classic ryokan! They don’t have WiFi in your rooms.

Stayed in a Japanese style room that had it's own Japanese style Onsen bath on the balcony. Very quite and relaxing inn surrounded by nature. It was a bit difficult to find, but a call (in Japanese) to the inn got us there. The staff were warm and friendly. One of our party could not eat fish, and the inn provided a special course menu for this individual. The dinner was exceptional. The common area Onsen hot springs were relaxing and clean. Overall, a bit on the expensive side, but it was a great stay and I look forward to going back again soon. Note: not sure how well they would handle non-Japanese speaking guests, but if you know a little Japanese, I highly recommend this inn if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A first rate onsen in Shimoda. Unique amenities including a real Finnish wood fired sauna, great steam room, an onsen fed pool, onsen in the room and excellent food. The rooms also have western style beds which are not typical. 10m ride from Shimoda station...
3月31日露天風呂付と和風次の間が付いた103のコチ と言う部屋に宿泊しました プールは生温くて気持ちいい️ でも外気はしっかり3月！出るのは勢いが要ります 普段は予約でいっぱいのホテル、コロナとgo toキャンペーンに外れた日で人も少なくのんびり楽しめました 食事も美味しいし、スタッフの人の対応も、馴れ馴れしく無く、けれど親しみのある素晴らしい接客で完璧 また必ず来たいお宿でした
ケロサウナでプロサウナーたちと出会い、整う。 ホームサウナではなかなか出会えない、旅サウナーだから、気さくに仲良く\u200d️ そんなゆっくりな時間を過ごしました。 春夏秋冬 どれをとっても イイ Sauna 簡易的でも 水風呂を設置してくれてありがとうございました。
まず写真と実物が違い古めかしい宿でビックリ‼️中居さんの対応も冷たくがっくり何時間もかけて到着したのに淡々と進めていく感じでした館内の施設は稼働してるのかわからないくらい暗い感じでしたプールも温水って言ってるけど寒くて入れない 暗くてこけそうでした。 お料理は味気なく刺身についてくるわさびも偽物 名物ですよねワサビ 鮑の踊り焼も踊ってる所見せてくれず多分踊らないんでしょうね 朝の伊勢海老の味噌汁も薄いし独特の臭みで食べれず残しました 一番いい部屋に泊まりましたが 風呂以外は古ぼけた旅館な感じで お会計は11万円ごえ 皆さんマジでここ1泊10万円の価値ないから騙されないようにしてください 一休から予約しましたがいつもより3万円くらいぼったくられました
予約した部屋より広い部屋にアップグレードしてもらえて、料理も美味しかったし、サウナも良かったです。 でもちゃんとした水風呂が無くて残念でした。小さくて深めのビニールプールみたいなのに水が入っている感じです。 宿のFree WiFiは全然つながらないです。
