This was definitely worth every penny. And the quality of the fish was unreal. Most importantly, the owner's hospitality was amazing and went above and beyond. Would 100% recommend!

Worst sushi ever... Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone even if they're very hungry. The 'raw' salmon was smoked and extremely overpriced. 2000 yen for 8 pieces of bad sushi.
ここのお寿司屋さんに初めて行ったのは、私がまだ２０歳になりたての頃でした。バイクを購入し、初めて自分の運転で伊豆半島まで来たのは良かったものの、下田に到着したのは夜の19時ごろでした。多くの店がシャッターを下ろす中、まさに暖簾を仕舞おうとしていたところに飛び込みで声をかけたのが寿々女鮨さんでした。閉店間際の来客は嫌がられるだろうなと思いましたが、女将さんに優しく接客して頂いたのが今でも忘れられません。オーダーしたのは地魚寿司です。肉厚のネタはどれも新鮮で、一つ一つの握りが食べやすく、味が濃厚でした。帰り際、「気を付けてね」と声をかけて下さったのが本当に嬉しくて、また来ようと思いましたが、仕事の折り合いがつかず中々訪れることが叶わなかったお店です。 そんな寿々女寿司さんは、8月に暖簾を下されました。私の人生の中でいつまでも忘れない、最高のお寿司屋さんでした。有難うございました。
