The beautiful old private house was doomed to be demolished as the city planners wanted to create some parking space. A group of volunteers has saved the house and opened it to the public. Have a tea in the beautiful yard. You’ll support the conservation of the place

One of the historical-Islamic mansions of Shiraz, which has become the Museum of Islamic Arts: The manteginejad house is from the late Qajar mansion. This mansion is located in the Old City of Shiraz, in the alley adjacent to the southern side of the New Mosque on Ahmadi Avenue, near the shah Cheragh shrine. On the southern side of this mansion is a Shah neshin, which has been decorated with paintings in walls, ceiling and mirrors, which is seen in most buildings of Qajar era. There are two rooms on either side of the Shah neshin where the ceiling of one of the rooms is painted, and another room is decorated with beamed ceilings and stucco around the fireplace. Western side paintings include flowers and plants, women's faces and pictures of European style mansions. The eastern and western sides of the mansion have several rooms as well as interior sections of the building. The decorations of these sections of the building consist of sash windows with colored glass, arched manucers, carved doors and moldings.
An old house which dates back to Qajar era, 19 century, a cosy courtyard and a nice pool in the middle, it takes you back in time
A historical house . Astonishing. Highly recommend. Nice mirror interior design.
have a good feeling there, the nature of garden in a small house of that time was beautiful. a great memory
There is beautiful, cool and amazing! This house which is located in the historical zone of the cultural capital of Iran, is among the most beautiful Ghajar era houses and has lots of decorations in the building. The mirror works in the main hall and colorful tiles are so astonishing that you would like to stay there as long as you are permitted to enjoy the atmosphere. The historic house of "the Manteghi Nejad" , which today houses the Islamic Art Museum, is located in the Qajar period, and in the Shah, Ahmadi Avenue, the alley behind the new mosque. This home is located in the ancient Shiraz, near the bazaar and shrine of Sharif Mir Ahmad Shah Cheragh, the most sacred monument of Fars province.
It's perfect and I love it
