It's been a while since I've been to a dentist (5 years), and this group provided such amazing service that I will make sure to keep my dental visits consist from now on. From the people that schedule the appointment all the way through billing was just amazing! It is obvious that they have a great team that focuses on providing the best service! Scheduling called me on several occasions to see if I wanted to come in earlier, which I did and was super happy to do. There were no issues verifying my insurance and discussing costs ahead of time. Once I arrived, I was greeted pleasantly and welcomed, and I true felt welcomed. From there, the dental hygienist came and got me on the time, which is always important. She was extremely nice, made me feel comfortable, and was a painless experience. The dentist came over and continued with amazing service. Once completed, I was brought to billing to discuss future work. Unfortunately, I am out of network...and the cost of a crown is a bit much to have billed out of network, but if I was part of their network, no doubt I would have them do the crown. Every single person was friendly and inviting, and I am grateful for such an amazing experience. I will definitely get my deep cleaning from here again! Anyone that isn't comfortable going to a dentist will have a pleasant experience here and will no longer have anxiety about going to a dentist. Simply put, they have an awesome team, and it is very clear to the patient that you are in good hands! Thanks.

Honestly was my first time here . Got referred by my dads good friend . Brittany was very helpful and super nice .10/10. Very clear on my procedure and very helpful on my questions . Dr was super nice too. He explained everything and went over what I was getting done and what I could do different to help my infection . Been to many dentists in my lifetime and sometimes I feel I was being rushed and not taken care of properly, but that was NOT the case . Front desk lady was super nice too. Good vibes . Thank you guys

Went to have my teeth cleaned & Absolutely Loved Kristen. Kristen is very caring and gentle, I truly dislike having to go to the dentist, but Kristen is go Good, that I have already made my next appointment!! The staff is very friendly & is very welcoming. Thank You Kristen for putting my fears at ease and making my whole process as painless as possible, I'm giving you 5 STARS!!

If you can go somewhere else I HIGHLY recommend you do. This place is a sham. I had a root canal procedure done and they did it incorrectly. I went to an Endodontist to fix it and they showed me in DETAIL what they did wrong. They are still using equipment and methods that are not only out dated, But have been proven not to work and to fail. The dentist (Dr. Funk) could not get to the root itself (as explained by the endodontist after taking 3D images) but he lied and said he did and sent me out the door with a bill for over 2,000. They do bad work here and are dishonest. So fast forward a few months I got the root canal re-done by an Endodontist. I am still being harassed by Shorewood Dental on a weekly basis to pay them over 2,000 for bad and incomplete work they did. I disputed with my credit card company and reported them to the ADA. Today They sent me a letter saying \they are very disappointed I did not pay them\. Dr. Funk I could not possibly care less about your \disappointment\. I am disappointed I had to get 2 seperate root canals on the same tooth because your incompetence caused me even more problems. And furthermore In the letter you sent me you insist that your work was done correctly, But I have documents and proof that has been collected by 3D imaging that prove this is false. I have physical proof. Stop lying. Please, please please.... Do not E V E R come to this place unless you want bad dental work done by shady and dishonest dentists. I disputed and got my money back so i could pay the endodontist, But they kept the money my insurance paid and wont acknowledge it. Insurance fraud? Not to mention They wanted over 400 for a cleaning. GO SOMEWHERRE ELSE!

I've been going to Shorewood Family Dental for about 40 years. I am as happy with their professionalism and service now as I also have been. They combine a patient-focused attitude with the best procedures and technology provide the best care possible. I've had to visit other dentists here and there while out of town and I've never come across any that come close.
