Beautiful arboretum. Great place to relax and go on a nature walk. It is beautiful, well tended and has nice trails. There is a great assortment of birds in the arboretum too.

Such a beautiful, peaceful location. Numerous towering trees. Various species of birds. Plenty of benches for sitting and relaxing. It's a getaway, close to home, worth the trip.

It’s beautiful in that it’s an oasis in the middle of suburbia forever protected from development but it’s not great as an Arboretum. I could find fewer than ten tags on trees to tell you what they were. The point of an arboretum is deepening tree knowledge and this one doesn’t work if that’s your aim.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here! The museum is quite charming and enjoyed seeing the live bee hive within, great for all ages. Our nature hike was enjoyable and out guide was informative of different foliage , challenges they're facing, along with some basic history of the property. We will visit again in the Spring to see what new sprouts and buds become visible.

The arboretum is a special place for learning, exploring and appreciating nature. There are great programs for children including summer camp and many other activities throughout the year. The building itself is a lovely old example of the cottage design nestled in the woods. This is such a wonderful place for a nature getaway in the middle of town. They constantly have programs for kids, families, schools, scouts, birthday parties, summer camps, etc. And they also have lovely self-guided tours. The center is small and has a few animals, but my kids gravitate toward them every time.
