Ashley’s Bar is excellent whether you want to pop in for a drink during a day out in Shrewsbury or whether you are after a longer afternoon or evening out in town. Staff are friendly and choice of drinks is excellent. Definitely worth a visit. July 2020 - Superbly managed during a difficult time. Safe. Clean. Keep an eye on the Facebook page, there is always lots going on!

Ashley's was very mindful of safety for customers and staff. Hand gel encouraged and safe distancing for ordering and collecting drinks. No bar service. Toilets available, one person at a time. As always pleasant, friendly staff and great choice of drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic.
Disgusted this evening, refused entry due to living in a TF1 postcode area, even though when arrived stated that myself and wife wanted to drink outside. Felt very discriminated against due to the postcode area we lived in, even though we weren’t going into a tier 2 system due to covid... until the early hours of Saturday morning. I work in the SY1 area 48hours a week so was very disappointed with the service I received when trying to enjoy a lovely evening out.
