I have followed the development of this latest piece from its birth and been amazed and at times a bit worried about how all the disparate forms would blend together. Now I know I needn't have worried as the result hangs together beautifully. This is Nathalie's forte - her love of glass - really really good glass, inspires her to gather together a wide variety of forms to produce a unified and welcome result. You might wonder how the myriad complex forms in the lower half would blend with the open sky but they do! Good stained glass should in my view be striking from afar and then invite the viewer to go closer and never stop finding more and more interest. This does just that!

It was exciting to learn to paint on glass and discover the process of selecting the pieces of glass to form the stunning panel that is soon to be installed at Shrewsbury Art Gallery.
