Great location, great coffee, great cake, great service, what's not to love? Plus Fair-trade, eco- friendly and in the heart of nature... an all-round feel good experience! Highly recommended!

We went to the cafe after the 'Highway Rat trail'. It’s wonderful and we really hope they do well because they deserve to. The food is top class with a lovely choice, catering for vegetarians and vegans. The sandwiches were tasty, freshly made with top class local ingredients, thick smoked salmon and lovely granary bread. The ice cream was from a local farm and tasted delicious. They are also very ethically conscious, using other materials other than plastic. I would definitely return and not necessarily just when I have done a walk there! Good luck to them in their venture. Along with the food the cafe staff were friendly, polite and welcoming.

Lovely little place! Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. Nice range of food available including gluten free and vegan options. Despite the café being busy, we didn't have to wait for food, which was delicious. We visited the area for the Zog trail, which our 5 year old loved. Only minor down point is that despite it being busy there's only one toilet available, which closes at 3 during the winter and 4 during the summer. Accessible and baby changing available, but again, close at 3\\4.
