A great education and a wonderful way to spend an evening. Gary's deep knowledge of wine and his friendly presentation make the Shropshire Wine School well worth trying. We have thoroughly enjoyed the online classes that allow a greater degree of focus on the varieties that we are studying. Unlike some other online wine schools that are impersonal and too fast-paced, Gary's classes have a far more sociable feel that will suit a variety of experience levels. The fine wine courses (Bordeaux and Burgundy) are particularly worthwhile.

Gary came to a privately rented house during a staycation with some friends of mine and we couldn’t have asked for a better time. Great wine, great knowledge and fun team games made our afternoon one to remember, learnt lots and will be making some purchases of the wine he provided for my own enjoyment when home. Would highly recommend to those visiting Shrewsbury to get Gary over for a fun afternoon with great wine.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with Gary at The Shropshire Wine School. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was great. Gary is so knowledgable and we learned such a lot about different wines, grapes and vineyards. Really interesting. We definitely recommend this course.
