Mankameshwar Temple in Agra is one of the ancient temples devoted to Lord Shiva. It is situated at Rawatpara, near Agra Fort Railway Station. One can approach this temple from railway station after paying Rs. 10 or Rs. 15/- per person in Battery Auto/ Vikram/ Auto. It is said that the Shiva Linga in this temple is covered by Silver and it was founded by lord Shiv himself in the Dwapar Yug when lord Krishna was born in Mathura. One can reach fully close to the Vigraha provided one does not wear leather items and English style pants, pyjamas, and salwaar suits.
