If they had 10 stars I would give them 10 stars. I have seen my two sons (who had never previously played in any sports teams) flourish and thrive. My only regret is not having moved to the area sooner.

This league has no morals. My 8 year old was removed from his baseball team because I asked the coach a question via e-mail; this was really more of an inquiry because I was new to this. His coach, Bill Consiglio, was asked to simply explain why my child sat for three innings in a very polite manner that included gratitude and compliments towards him and the entire coaching staff. The response I received was that he and the other coaches as well as the commissioner convened and decided to remove my child from the team. I replied with an apology and explaining that they misunderstood my email, that my son would be heart broken. Bill Consiglio cold heartedly and without any compassion toward my child removed him from the team without an explanation or even bothering to respond to me, I had to email him a third time and he responded that there was a refund check in the mail. The President of SOAC as well as the commissioner backed his decision. Just to clarify, I never, not through email, text, nor in person ever once had any conflict or disagreement with anyone. MOST IMPORTANT HERE…MY SON IS CRUSH AND NOT ONE OF THESE SO CALLED MEN, COACHES, MENTORS CARED!!! We are better off...I couldn't give a 0 star rating

I have a 10yr old nephew playing on 5/6 right now and they have a huge team over 30 kids. He played last year and we loved it so we came back but this year things are different. He stands on the side line for over an hour before they put him in the game. He gets about five or ten mintues to play if he is lucky. Some of those five or ten mintues is blocking a field goal. I am so disappointed this year with the shrub oak team. My nephew not the best person on the team but he deserve fair playing time. It is the same players on the field every game running and throwing the ball. We pay 250.00 and don't even get our money worth. He has not really progressed at all this year because of how much time he had spent on the field. He also has ADHD and they except him to stay still that long and wait his turn. Not fair to some of those players this year. They should of split the team. I hope things change next season. Very unhappy with how this season turned out.
