When I asked the lunch lady very nicely, “May I please have a peice of garlic bread?” she just said, “No.” I expect better lunch accommodations from you in the future.

My children have a good experience here. There are regular updates from teachers and a weekly newsletter to keep parents informed on what is going on at the school.

I attended Shue-Medill from 7th-8th which was 2004-05, I believe. The school wasn't too bad but there were some memorable incidents good and bad that I experienced. One was an altercation that a student had with a State Trooper which was unbelievable, and the good were the field trips. Had some pretty good teachers but overall, the school could have done more for my education back then to prepare me for the future. If I had the choice, it wouldn't have been Shue-Medill. I suffer from Autism Spectrum Disorder and were diagnosed last year and had that have been known, I'm almost positive that my education plan would have been different and the teachers and administration would have known my strengths and weaknesses. For instance, when I attended, we brought a computer cart into the math room and \learned\ math on a computer program. Which was the furthest from the truth since most of us were playing games on the computer and learned hardly any math which did not prepare us for high school level math. I hope that isn't the case now and I hope those who do attend this school currently aren't just being placed in front of a computer or electronic device and are actually being taught.

I go here for a seventh and a 8th grade. The years were 1999-2000 (I’m an old Greek man, you see?) so anyways, I loved this school, especially tech ed. I also had a beautiful apollonia-esque teachers too! Ms. Brandstetter and ms. McHugh were such pistols!
