A beautiful cathedral. Enter peaceful, stay 5-10 minutes on a chair without thoughts, just a prayer for God, if you feel and want, then you can leave at least like a new born.

Absolutely unbelievable!!! It seems to be a levitating building, in the air! More than beautiful, the iconography is in a byzantine style, of course - the source of inspiration is the Saint Sofia Cathedral from Constantinople (Istanbul) - a monument of the orthodoxy and a prove that the heaven on earth exists! Bravo!!!

Nice cathedral. Not so welcoming people. Try to keep as quiet, as you can. Look above and walk around the walls. Visit the candle house as well.

Quite a spectacular example of religious artwork and construction. This church in Sibiu might be relatively new having been built at the start of the 20th Century, but it's looks are based on Byzantine influences such as Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, and I think they did a great job. The church itself rises quite high above the ground so it's easy to see. I did find the outside more interesting than the inside apart from the interior ceiling which I thought was beautiful.
