My boyfriend and I were driving cross-country to move him from CA to MD. After driving almost 1000 miles in one day, we found ourselves exhausted and pretty much in the middle of nowhere at 10:30pm. This awesome little hidden gem was a lifesaver! The owners are so friendly, kind, welcoming, and hospitable. The room was clean and bed was comfy. We sat and talked with Charles over coffee for an hour or so in the AM before leaving. Lettie (his wife) checked us in the prior evening and was so helpful - they had actually just closed for the evening but she took care of us and gave us a room anyway. Highly recommend - our brief stay here, along with the bonus of meeting and talking with the owners, will definitely serve as a positive, memorable experience from our long, crazy journey.

Nicest people that love dogs! Rooms are clean with great fluffy towels at a discount motel price. Id stay here over holiday Inn any day!
I found this place after all hotels in the nearest town were full. What a find! The owners were so sweet and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable mattress, clean bathroom. The grounds are inviting...bbq areas, sitting areas. This will be my go-to place when traveling in the future.
Cute hotel along the way! Had so much personality and charm. Rooms had exactly what we needed and even a mini fridge and microwave. Good size LED TVs with Roku too!
Very nice hotel. Architected as a boutique type hotel, and remodeled from a 1938 travel motel, or was clean, comfortable, with good amenities. Two places where lacking was almost no power outlets (only one outlet plate), and TV is streaming only (no cable or over the air TV). But I didn't have problems finding things to watch. If you like better hotels and are staying in Sierra Blanca, this is where you want to stay.
The owners live on site and are the kindest folks I've ever met. They're happy to help with most anything you could need. We came to down to visit with family and this little lodge was the perfect stay. Trying to get away from real life for a little while, the wifi was existent but not nearly as fast as home, cell service was okay, receive and send texts but it's honestly one of the best places to just sit in one of the many chairs around the property and just soak up the texas sun. I will very much be back in the future.
A wonderfully cozy place with friendly owners that go the extra mile, for your satisfaction! It is in a quiet location a couple of turns away from the freeway, gas, and convience stores. We were hungry from the drive and they let us use their grill to BBQ some steak that we purchased from a gas station (it was some of the best meat I've had in a long time). The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and cool. Be aware the area is very dry so try to conserve their water supply. If I'm ever passing through I'll definitely visit again!
A quirky little place... Historic indeed... It's what was called a motor Lodge that we now call a motel. Rooms are small... Clean with a comfortable bed... Quiet... With good WiFi. It's a small flash back to a world you can hardly find now... I'd stop by soon as it looks like the town is about to drop off the face of the Earth. Photos I think make it look better than it is... Has a wonderful sculptural swirling on the ceiling... The obligatory small fridge and microwave... There was coffee in the morning but no breakfast. Would I stay again... Yeah... Probably... There's really nothing better in the area.
