Good for kids
It is beautiful but we could not visit the church because they closed it before the closing time; because the caretaker had to go to some place :(

This was simply one of the coolest cemeteries I've ever seen. Some of the head stones were so unique. It's worth walking around specially since it's a big part of sigtuna's history.
Breathtaking just like all the ruins in Sigtuna. Such a mystical vibe and interesting details, like runestones built in the walls.
A nice low-key site. It doesn't claim to be a museum, even though it has been a very important landmark and is still part of Swedens history. If only it had some signs with some information on the history of the church and town!!!!! Surrounded by old stones showing clear ruins, and located in a small but peaceful graveyard, the ruins are definitely worth some time when visiting Sigtuna. Do be mindful though, it is still a graveyard.
St. Olaf's ruins is located at 5 mins walk from Sigtuna bus station. Its a very old structure that speaks of centuries old history. Excavations around this place suggest the existence of even older structure that goes before 12th century. The Church is surrounded by a grave yard and generally the gates of the ruins are locked so tourists cannot enter but its definitely well preserved.
Beautiful church from the 1200s... Local cemetery is cool
It is as the name implies, the ruins of an old church. Although it's a rather important site, there is nothing much here and only worth a visit if you're already planning on going to Sigtuna.
Nice things to see. Sigtuna has an important place in Sweden's early history. It is the oldest town in Sweden, having been founded in 980.
