This Silver Lake in particular has been our go to for years when looking for Chinese food. They have always been consistent with their flavor throughout the years as well. I’m a huge potsticker lover and Silver Lake has some of the best I’ve ever had. I currently reside in Arizona but I always get my post sticker fix in from here. It’s been a while but the manager that used to work there was also extremely nice when we would dine in. Always a good time. Please never change, I love you!

All Silver Lakes Restaurants are not the same! They're all OK, but the St Charles location is the best! The food stands out as the best outside of Chinatown and even better than some of the places in Chinatown. The staff is great from phone-order to delivery to carryout and even in-store dining. They're closed now on Mondays, but they deserve a day off!
I adore this place! They prepare delicious dishes, their menu is varied, The chef in that place is very trained, I love a lot tasting all their dishes. The food is always tasty, the service towards the visitors is very good too. I frequently visit this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it with no hesitation.
Over an hour for delivery??? And then I call to find out where the food is and find out they are sending it from a different location in Elgin!!!! Save your time and money
Our absolute favorite Chinese restaurant for years and years! Everything we’ve ever had tasted great, never had anything that wasn’t great! Everyone here is super nice and provides great service. Great for takeout too!
