On the 19th of August at 12.00 I paid with my Revolut card in Silves shop. Your cashier did not notice that my card was debited twice. On monday the 24th of August at 12.00 I went back to Silves following instructions from my card holder. They advice first to visit the shop and ask for a refund back on my debit card. I asked to see the person in charge, told my problem and she advised me to call Lidls helpline. My purchase was 48,34eur, I needed the money to be able to buy some new food. She spoke bad english and forwarded me to a cachier. This man claimed that because of the weekend the money hadnt been refunded to my account. He suggested that if not in my accound the next day I should return to the shop and ask again. For me a travel around 10km. Of course I on tuesday still havent got the money back into my account. My feeling is I havent done anything wrong, but being treated like all was my fault, by two of the staff. The boss incompetent, lack of service and professionalism. A person doing her job like this should not be in charge. The young man, cashier, speaking better english than the boss, treated me in a very ignorant way. The end of this story is that I had to turn to my card holder to ask them to claim the money. This will take around seven (7) days. In the end I will have to wait for ten days before being refunded. Something Lidl could have helped me to avoid by doing a refund in their cash register.

It's only supermarket, not even a coffee shop. Car park is very badly played out. Checkout can be quite slow, staff always chatting to someone else on headsets. Good range of food at reasonable prices.

Absolute blinding day out with the wife. I am certainly in her good books now after grabbing some bumting piri piri chicken. 5 stars would recommend.

Large selection of food, local and continental, fresh and preserved, suiting all tastes (and pockets!). Also, a weekly changeover of useful home utensils and clothes (check the in-store catalogue or the Lidl website). Free large car parking and comfortable moving ramp (sloping escalator) all adds to a comfortable experience.

You can get a wide variety of freshly baked bread, fruit & vegeatables, wines/spirits/beers and many other household necesseties here at reasonable prices. It also has its own free parking area.
