A great teacher. Simon puts his pupils at ease with his laid back style. He doesn’t just teach ‘parrot fashion’, he makes sure there’s an understanding of what he’s teaching.
I had to stop playing due to shoulder injury but Simon would be my first choice if I am ever lucky enough to start up again. Under Simon's tuition, my playing greatly improved. Simon is friendly and enthusiastic, it was always good to see him.
I have been playing guitar for a number of years with chords and a few pentatonics. I looked Simon up and booked lessons in November 2019, I've now got out of the box and I am playing lead guitar parts in many keys. Simon is a great guy, patient and encouraging in lessons. I have learnt so much in the months that I have been having lessons with Simon. I would highly recommend Simon to any guitar player wishing to learn or expand their guitar knowledge.
I have been a student for several years and am still learning new songs/tunes that keeps lessons fresh and interesting. Helpful guidance during session with good humour mixed in.
