This place does everything right. No jokes, I come here if I’m having a bad day and I need a sure way to turn it around. Now they have an awesome patio with the perfect vibe. The goat patty is the best but now they are playing around with other flavours. I had the oxtail patty...nicely spiced. But you can put anything in this pastry and it would be magical.

AWESOME PATIO AND SO DELICIOUS! Got the curry tofu plate which was full of flavour, large amount, great value. Will probably have to make this place a staple in the meal rotation. Hats off to the chef!
My only disappointment is that this place doesn’t have the 5-star rating it deserves. Hopefully with their new location more people discover just how amazing it is. The owner is incredibly friendly and offers tips if you’ve never had Jamaican food before. The beef Jamaican patties make for a great snack, but if you’re looking for a proper meal, get the large jerk shrimp. So fricken good—and their homemade hot sauce makes it even better!
Simply Irie is the best Caribbean cuisine in YYC! Their hot sauce is homemade and to die for, their food always comes fresh, hot, and proper. I have never been so satisfied with a restaurants customer service; not to forget that they are responsive to all calls and IG messages. Cannot wait to keep supporting this local business!
Fantastic food and such a friendly place. The atmosphere reminds me of so many of the Jamaican food restaurants I lived at in my youth. Fay's food is top notch and there are so many items that will become your favorite! I always try to support local restaurants if I can but it certainly isn't hard to do with Simply Irie!
Best food I have ever had in my entire life! The food was perfect, the jerk chicken, stewed beef, curry chicken, fries, I tell you. Everything. The food looked good, smelled amazing, and tasted out of this world!! Not to mention the super awesome service!! The entire staff was so kind and great at communicating! The owner was also the literal sweetest! She was so welcoming and friendly, and made the already warm atmosphere even more warm. Highly recommend!
Our family recently had a craving for Jamaican food. After reading many positive reviews for Simply Irie Caribbean Cuisine, we decided to to try them out. We were not disappointed! We ordered their Jerk Chicken and Curry Goat with traditional rice and peas. Both delicious! The experience brought back fond memories of our trip to Jamaica. They are the REAL DEAL as far as we are concerned.
