An eatery offering Malaysian cuisine in the cooked food centre. They were famous for their dark soy sauce and pig skin. The price was relatively high but the quantity was well enough. Ribs in herb soup with rice was only served on every Wednesday and sold out fast. There were some drinks not so commonly found in other eateries. The environment was not so good with just simple decoration as expected. The distance between seats were also close. The staff was quite friendly. Air-conditioner in one shop was suddenly out of order at the time of visit.

The place is quite tidy in a gov food court. I like heavy taste stuffs, usually, but the curry beef I ordered is a bit too much on the salty side, and I couldn't taste any herbs... The white coffee is good, and new comer should try the pig skin. At the end of the day, I think I will come again to try one or two more dishes, but I wouldn't line up for it.

Tried the dried noodles with black soy sauce. Portion is quite big. Tasted prerty good but the noodle itself was a bit too cold. Food is reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is located inside an old food market and is rather crowded. If you are someone who looks for a quiet and roomy place for lunch, this is definitely not the restaurant for you. Btw, it closes at around 15:15 in the afternoon.

The haihainese chicken rice taste good, but curry chicken was over cooked and was a bit hard.

As you know, I love trying Singmalay eateries because I don't think I will ever make it to Singapore or Malaysia because I hate hot weather. Unfortunately, it is summer at the moment, so made it in the humid heat to Kwun Tong pier where this place is located. I nearly went to the wrong eatery, because the money hungry stalls on the ground floor were ushering people to tables as soon as anyone arrived. Got there and the eatery was quite interesting because they had printed bills despite being in a shabby market location and there was English on the menu. Each table has a large playing card stuck to the wall so the restaurant knows which table you're at. Had the noodles with chicken feet and pork trotters. The chicken feet were not soft enough and dehydrated while the pork trotter was ok. I didn't like the noodles because of the sweet soy sauce and they had a strong alkaline taste. Had the white pepper soup with beancurd which was very fiery but the white pepper was very aromatic. (I was lucky I didn't order the noodles in white pepper broth) The star was the chicken offal! There were both female and male chicken offal in there because there was a small testee and an undeveloped chicken egg yolk. Most probably the most complete set of offal that is served.

The best that I have ever tasted. A must go to place to try authentic Malaysian cooking! In a food market building. Very busy during lunch time so ideal time is around 2pm. Staff are friendly and helpful. I'll try to come back before I fly home!. This is my first 5-STAR rating for food so far...I hope you won't be disappointed when you try...

Messy or none service, bad food and is over-seasoned. Avoid
