Was there on 2/19/2021 evening and was disappointed with the food. I ordered Tulipanes Special. Chicken, steak, and cactus were not cut up - just slabs at the bottom coveredmwith peppers and onions. Very flavorless, seemed like they forgot to add any seasonings to the fajita mix - I've ordered their Fajita Tulipanes before and it was very flavorful. Our food came out very quickly which surprised me, but made me wonder if they were in a hurry and forgot to finish preparing the food. I'm hoping it was just an anomaly.

A wonderful sit-down Mexican meal with a large assortment of choices. The atmosphere is nice and the food never disappoints.
Delicious food! Great place for the birthday celebrations in our family.
My favorite entres at Los Tulipanes are the beef burrito fajita or shrimp fajitas. They are well seasoned and so delicious. I also enjoy the chips and salsa and white queso sauce! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Not really impressed with anything from this restaurant. Food is ok, prices are fair. Not the best michelada I've had, but not the worst. It's ok for a Mexican spot in Iowa. Texican gives it 3 stars
