The first time I had an appointment scheduled for my genetic screening which was scheduled weeks earlier, they called me the day prior asking me if I could be there in 30 minutes because they couldn’t do it when they originally scheduled it & now I had my 20 week anatomy scan scheduled for tomorrow, again they called me the day before telling me they are going to have to push it out another 2 weeks. First of all, with my husband working out of town he managed to get the week off so he could be with me while finding out the gender of our baby & they call me the day before, not a week before or a couple days before but, THE DAY BEFORE saying they cannot do it because of staffing... so I would highly recommend NOT going with Avera Fetal Medicine because clearly they aren’t able to do scheduling correctly as I’ve went to them twice & “something” always comes up. It’s frustrating & I don’t understand how they can’t tackle such a simple task such as SCHEDULING.
