Horrible building property manager. She’s rude, hard to reach, uncaring. She walked into my apartment more than once with her own key without knocking while I was there! Don’t call before they come do repairs so could show up anytime unannounced. Inconsiderate of tenants. Worse place I have ever lived. You won’t get your deposits back. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! You will regret it. I was in fear for my life and asked to get out of lease due to the law that states it’s legal to terminate a lease if you are in fear for your life and have documentation. Which I had. She said no and had her lawyer call me and be very rude. She wouldnt call me with the final deposit amount. She has over 1000 in deposits and claims I owe more.

We signed a lease for 12 months with our “first” month free (which we found out later was actually not the first month) and we had a family emergency that lead us to need to get out lease early. We knew we didn’t want to break our contract so we were going to sublet and we had it all lined up, and the landlord (Dorothy) told us that it wasn’t a great idea and if the new occupants signed a lease before ours was up for our unit it would void our lease. Hence we would not have anything to worry about. We go through the plan... and get the carpets professionally cleaned like they require... we clean the entire place... spotless. And 2 months later we get a bill for an additional months rent because we “broke” our lease we then got sued for that money. In the end we had to just pay that month of rent but these guys are trying to get as much money out of you as possible. In my conversations with Dorothy later... she admitted we were lucky they had planned to get any of our deposit back because the building managers usually take the deposits as commission for getting someone to sign the lease. Bottom line I would never recommend solely due to how we were treated. Otherwise the apartment itself was just fine.
You won’t get your deposit back because apparently cleaning lady dust the top of the fridge from a wheelchair that takes 20 hours. Also very hard to get ahold of anyone here.
Overall the facility is well kept and new. The apartments are big and the floor plans are nice. However, the building is very poorly insulated. The Hallways are always extremely hot. Especially in the summer. The windows are not insulated well so the heat/ac is almost constantly on. The electric bill was always ridiculously high due to the poor insulation. Often twice as much as any place I lived before. The property manager is a sad excuse of a property manager. She never answered her phone and was almost always out of the office. Her people skills are sub-par at best. She was often rude and pompous making it very difficult to work with her. Snow removal is terrible. Most of the time they just plow a path and trap in the vehicles. Hardly anyone at the facility follows the rules when it comes to their pets feces. Overall this was the worst experience I have ever had with a property manager and facility. I would not recommend living here to anyone.
I lived here for just under two years and had a good experience. The few maintenance requests that I called about were responded to in a timely manner. I took away one star because it can be kind of loud... the walls are thin, but it depends on your neighbors. You can also hear noise from the parking lot in the apartment. Overall, I enjoyed living here. Move-out process was easy and I had no issues with management... my full deposit was returned.
