I bought my niece a pair of Adidas Swift Run J's at Tilly's at the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls this fall right before school started. Less than two weeks later, one of the lace loops busted, making them useless for her for school and gym, since they didn't lace all the way up anymore. I contacted Tilly's and let them know what happened, that I still had the original box WITH THE TILLY'S PRICE TAG on it and all I was asking for was an exchange so my niece could have the shoes she picked out. She's only 9. They refused to even exchange them, for the same exact shoe, albeit not a defective one, just because I no longer had the receipt. Their customer service is a joke. Don't shop here. If you want to buy something defective and have them not do a thing about it, then by all means, this is your store. If I could give negative stars, I would.

went in to return three shirts, was told i need to put on a mask but when i came in and bought the shirts i did not need a mask. i waited in line so i can return my shirts and get the hell out and it comes to my turn and this blue haired girl says “sorry i can’t serve you without a mask” and told me they were giving out masks in the mall and when i asked where she said in the snottiest tone “i’m not allowed to tell you that” what the actual hell tillys. will not be returning
