Just bought my first bike from Halter's. It was a great experience with knowledgeable staff. My only negative is they are an hour away from my house! I would definitely reccomend this shop!

Jason is my Hero!!! I bought a new Trek bike at the end of March. It's a decent bike, but it never shifted to the highest 3 gears and would constantly skip teeth on the sprocket. I went back to where I bought it from, and I was told to drop it for 3-4 weeks. To me it seemed like a bad chain, which should've been fixed for free on a new bike. Considering I just spent 1k plus on the bike, it would've been nice to get it fixed for the rest of the summer. I rode the bike until the chain finally snapped two days ago. My wife told me that she saw Halter's Cycles while shopping in this outdoor mall for shoes. What a hidden treasure this shop is!!! Jason could tell immediately that I NEEDED this bike ASAP. Considering that bikes are now harder to get than toilet paper, I thought I'd get the usual treatment. That is, get a number and drop your bike. Hope that you hear from a human within a month. I was incorrect. Jason literally took the time to talk to me. He actually LISTENED to what I said was occurring with the bike. Within a minute of looking at the bike he noticed the rear derailleur was bent. In addition, the chain was unsalvageable. By correcting these two things for me, I was able to ride the bike immediately. Jason was quite impressive. He is very knowledgeable about bikes. He is also extremely personable. He isn't rushing through a conversation to get to the next client. He ensures you are completely satisfied before leaving. He even showed me how to put air in the tires because I never used them before. Save yourself some time, aggravation and money from the get go. Head over to Halter's Cycles for any of your biking needs. You'll be happy that you did!!! THANK YOU JASON!!!!!!!
