Disappointed that we never got the chance to visit the cafe upstairs. Upon entering the shop we were abruptly and rudely requested to go and stand outside. We are aware of the maximum number of persons allowed in this shop at any one time, but had to enter the shop to check how many people were inside. A friendly request to wait outside would have been met with my complete understanding and respect, but being spoken to like a child was insulting and enough to make us exit and go to another cafe. I hope and believe that the snappy attitude of one person is not a representation of every member of staff. If I had been greeted by another member of staff I'm sure our visit would have been completely different.

Amazing chocolates, lovely and varied selection of cakes & bakes, and great snacks and sandwiches.
Good local independent bakers. Lots of choice in loaves and confectionery. Really good made to order sandwiches. Good pie selection too.
Looks clean the waitress was very helpful. They have all the covid 19 pracrtises in place. Will use again.
Beautiful food, friendly and helpfull Staff.our meal was very tastefully and hot. We didn't have to wait long. Have been before and would go again. All covid 19 regulations adeered to.
