Nice quiet place like to take the kids to swim. Water is cool and clear but not too cold. Small beach area that's usually not crowded. There is a dock completely surrounding the swimming area that protects from the boats. Water is 10 to 12 feet deep by the dock.

This place is stunning. A hidden gem. The lake is just warm enough and so clear you can almost always see the bottom. Great day hikes, awesome playground, and well kept clean sites.

Absolutely stunning area. Lots of over night camping spots (we did not use them but they are visible when entering day-use area). The beach area and dock are small, but it makes for a very friendly, cozy area. The water is amazing and crystal clear. Would highly recommend but come early!

The park entrance is 15km about 6 miles up in the hills above Hwy 95 in South Eastern BC near Skookumchuck, BC Canada. The road to the park started off as paved, two lane good quality road but about half way up it turned into broken pavement, gravel, and dirt. The campground is located on the hillside above the lake. There is a small parking area near the beach and picnic area but no room for motorhomes or RV’s. There is parking for truck and boat trailer at the boat launch and a nice long dock enclosing the swimming area on this beautiful lake. The boat launch is paved and in good repair. Stair cases to the beach making it not fully accessible or wheel chair accessible. Nice playground in campground and nice trails with bridges crossing a small creek. All sites are unserviced and mostly level. Some sites offer privacy and shade but others are very close together with no privacy or shade. Water pump with untreated water that is not safe for drinking unless boiled. No showers, no drinking water, no sani-dump. I do not advise an extended stay as it is a long drive to get water and empty tanks.

Gorgeous lake with Cristal clear water, and a great swimming area/ dock for small fishing craft. Some good rainbow and brookie fishing as there's a fish farm, and it's pretty deep about 110feet in the center. It's Surrounded by mountains, keeps the lake like glass most days. Decent dirtbike and mountain biking trails close by as well. Most camping stalls are of a pretty moderate size but there are a few larger ones available. The way in starts with off and on gravel and pavement to a dirt road that has a few tighter turns and a little washboard but all n all its a pretty good roadme and my car we're fine. All n all I had and awesome stay
