The Restaurant got exellent Food, great coffe and local beer. It is Open during summerseason. And closed during the winter. The building is an old Ferry rebuildt to a restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere, close to the camping area, and even closer to a nice beach. The camping got to let an shower fasilities. There is allso a wonderful promenade near by. If you are going camping in the Mjøsa-area, I can high recommend Evjua.

Strictly speaking this is first and foremost a camping site. By the presentation and marketing scheme they present themselves as more of a destination, and if the restaurant was great, the beach a little bigger and the inhabitants not actual campers, it would be worthy that title. The playground is nice, but the food is dissapointing and prices are absolutely bonkers. The area is lovely though, take a stroll on the nearby hiking area and you will among other things discover a great, almost empty beach no more than 500 meters away from the camping site. I may be a loner to say this, but bring some sandwiches, a hammock and enjoy that one instead.

Lovely place, right on the lake, we had a bbq and a swim and the kitchen was very nice, well worth a visit anytime of the week :-)

Stayed here in a motorhome and was very happy. Nice views and reasonable facilities. Ate in the restaurant. Tried the trout and the goat and both were very good. Service was excellent.

Best campsite showers ever! Generous camp kitchen, reasonable price to stay which includes use of the laundry room. All services very very clean. And lovely view of Lake Mjosa from the "Drop-in" pitches. Our only disappointment was that we arrived the day after the restaurant closed for the season (End of Norwegian school holidays) and didn't get to try out the restaurant with its very local menu. Will have to come back!
