One of the best trail in west LA area, it’s clean with limited parking spot. If you start from palisades Almost one mile to skull rock and 3 miles almost to the end of trail, that’s not a hard trail and should be good for kids. Dog are not allowed there and it’s not good for biking.

Love this little hiking trail. It's not the easiest but it's not difficult either and the sights are worth it.
Gets the blood flowing, moderate hike that meets the Temescal Canyon Park trail. Very easy to access and epic views while hiking to the rock. You can climb the rocks or keep going up past the rock to loop back to another entrance above the rocks. Either way great picture opportunities from the rocks on a clear day.
Great experience! The hike is pretty easy with beautiful views of the city and Malibu beach. I Highly recommend it. Gets very hot though.
