The new owners Eric and Julie turned this golf club into a beautifully fun place to stay, play and eat. The events, music and golfoutings were exactly what we needed on this vacation. Staying at the play and stay for a week was perfect, the restaurant, bar and event center is located below so we could sit to enjoy the views and entertainment day and night. We watched the morning putting and the front nine everyday! A perfect getaway for all family members - our 2.5 year old learned the basics of golf. This beautiful oasis is located in the heart of Pennsylvanian serenity, just an hour north of Pittsburgh. Such lovely location for any events and relaxation.

This place is open and serving food and alcohol again. It is a lovely venue, the staff is super friendly. The food is tasty but needs an upgrade. The wings are perfectly cooked but the size of a pigeon. The smoked brisket was full of flavor but overcooked. The buffalo sauce is deliciously spicy. The jalepeno cornbread is perfect. I am excited to see them serving again and encourage everyone to support local businesses. Give them your honest opinions and HELPFUL suggestions and maybe Slippery Rock will get a refined adult dinning venue.

The new management has injected life into this place again! Love everything they are doing to make this a place to want to be instead of just a place to play a round. The food is amazing, the events have been wonderful, including the kids and getting them into the sport with Friday classes. If you have not been since the 2020 season opened, you will be pleasantly surprised by the changes!
