This place is over charging for what you get. You pay for services you do not have access to and the management is always looking to give you extra bills. I was charged 1,000 in extra for damages and missing equipment that I wasn’t aware of. They are ripping you off ans I would never recommend someone to live there. The new staff is very incompetent and profit driven. They do not care about you.

Honestly the worst off campus housing. The Grove or University Village (Ivy) is well worth your money. I won't be resigning with The Heights again my roomates and i have had nothing but trouble.

I’ve lived here for going on two years, and it is really the nicest apartment complex to live in at Slippery Rock. The staff has always accommodated to everything and they are very understanding. The rent is very reasonably priced for how huge the townhouses are and there is also a lot of parking, and the security is very nice and helpful when you need them. I highly recommend living at The Heights.

I would have liked to rate The Heights zero stars but that’s just not possible. Management neglected any and all requests since the day I moved in. Requests such as fixing the powder room toilet that was not secured to the floor, not locking my bedroom door after inspections, not closing my bedroom door which I asked they do at least twice. During summer renovations I discovered someone else’s garbage all over my room and when I talked to someone in the leasing office about it they were all about getting it taken care of and looking into it until I left, and then they never followed up. I have talked to management more times than I would have liked to about my dissatisfaction with the business that they’re running. I was paying 550 a month for someone else to live in my apartment and they didn’t seem to think it was a big deal.

The set up is nice but there are many issues with this property.- including vandalism, while security is out patrolling..Wifi infrastructure needs redone- rarely ever works. Barely any guest parking spots- which is a problem because first year leasers can only take out a parking pass for 3 days or you will get charged 25. Maintenances will walk in whenever during inspection weeks without warning- yes they tell you maintenance is doing inspections but you are not given a time or day. Inspections are at least once a month( and they wonder why people don't want to resign)- well when maintenance walks into your apartment every week unannounced it gets pretty irritating when you're laying in bed without clothing and they continue to come in and look around?! This was very uncomfortable, there is no privacy. Roads are never plowed. I've seen many cars get towed and booted- very quickly. The entire interior was junk and all the wooden furniture is scratched and stained. It is very poorly insulated- the thermostat stays at 67 and the heat bill is over 120 each month. The down stairs living space needs space heaters because it doesn't warm up- this goes for all apartments. The door nob is broken on the entrance door and sticks (it needs replaced) maintenance has been called 2 times due to the knob not latching and the door blows opened. They continue to not fix it or even address the correct issue.
