Khan's Kitchenette

Best Place to visit if you like nature and walking in the woods. We loved going there and will definitely go in future too. We went yesterday and it was too cold. But a lot of people were there along kids and maintaining social distancing. We we had coffee and fries from a cafe near the lake.

A great place to take a walk. There's a lot of paths to follow around the park and there's a children's play area. There's a lovely lake with a path to walk all around it. There's a cafe near the lake too. The toilets are clean, but there's no heated water when I visited so be prepared for ice cold water in winter. Some of the paths can get muddy in winter, so wearing appropriate footwear is a must.

Large car parking area. Feels more like Woods than a park, which is great. Ti's big and could easily spend half a day walking. Unspoilt.

There's a large go ape centre here right next to the large car park. The wooded area is huge and has a lot of tracks to wonder round. The lake is a decent size with areas for dogs to get comfortably in and out of the water and to snap some really nice pics with benches every now and then. There is a children's play park which is a decent size and a place to get a nice hot drink. A couple of 'ice cream' trucks are located on some of the main tracks in the woods.

Beautiful place for relaxing nature walks. Lots of walking paths and the large lake (Black Lake) is beautiful. And you have the ability to walk around the edge on one side. Alot of toilets, a cafe.
