Don't know how to review somewhere that isn't open! Staying locally for the night and wanted something to eat at 5:30pm (25/08/18) Didn't think it was a good sign that only 1 other car in the car park but sign outside said food served to 8:30pm. However the doors were locked and looking through the window one there! Drove round the corner to The Perseverance and had wonderful meal. Won't even be looking at The Horton next time

A lovely family restaurant with a sheesha lounge in the back. Lovely atmosphere. Milkshakes, mocktails, burgers what more could you ask for.

I was there for a couple of weeks and everyone in the pub treated my like if they knew me for years. I miss everyone stuff and locals. They will see me definitely again soon. Keep up the good work and the rock bands is amazing. Thanks Deon

Stopping in a hotel by T5 searched for a pub for some food checked reviews and decided on the horton arms. On the plus side food was very nice home cooked and reasonable price. On the downside drinks very very expensive and half a dozen loud mouthed locals(male and female) thought it was OK to shout and swear in every sentence even though there were kids in the pub. I understand the owner must need his locals but he should keep them under control otherwise that's all the trade he's ever going to have.

Through the eyes of a mum with children aged 9 and 14yrs. We visited here this evening after searching local for somewhere suitable for the family to eat with good food. The pub was beautiful, the toilets immaculate, the food was around 40 mins but have no problem as it was home made and delicious, and very hot, even the peas. The drinks where expensive but I'm sure that's the area, 2x pops 1 wine 1 guiness around 17. Then 1 glass of wine and a coke poured from a large coca cola bottle 10.15. The food was well priced at around 10 per plate. What we found was, awful and really did spoil our family meal out was the rowdiness from the bar area ( all one room) I understand it's a local pub, folks have finished work and want a laugh and a drink, no problem at all with that. What I do have a problem with is shouting, hysterical high pitch laughter and most of all very bad language with every other word. My son sat there begging to leave but we had already ordered so he decided to put his hood on to try and muffle the noise, in the end my daughter dug out her ear plugs to share so they could listen to music. I really do feel the bar man or manager failed in their job by just asking them to quieten down a little as there were children in. It was very uncomfortable and we rushed our, what was very nice food just to leave. We were the only family eating in there at the time so no excuse in not knowing who was in the dinning section. We will not be returning to this pub or recommending which is a Shame as the food was lovely. The dinning section also has the door that assesses the smoking shelter so constant banging every 10 mins also was not appealing. Not recommended for family or a quiet meal.
