DO NOT GO HERE. I had an awful experience and I will be filing a complaint with the Alberta Dental Association. Dr. Badawi acts very nice early on until he gets your payments. Then he dismisses all your questions and concerns, and barely even talks to you during appointments. I clearly noticed how his behavior got much worse after the first few appointments, and after you sign the papers. He is very arrogant and has a HUGE ego whenever you question anything about the treatment. He ended up taking double the time for me, and told me my treatment was done even when my bite and some teeth were still not aligned. When I spoke to him about this, he just dismissed my concerns. This was very inappropriate, but I still very nicely tried to talk to him. But then even his staff were shocked at how rudely and arrogantly he spoke to me. At the end, he just said "you're done" and walked away. His staff member apologized to me for his behavior. I can't believe an orthodontist would do something like this. I immediately left his office. If you read the other reviews people have left under mine and also his reviews on Google, it's clear this is a trend other patients see as well. Over the years, I've noticed he's also quite rude to his staff members, which made me feel uncomfortable as a patient. And I also noticed the high turnover of his staff members. All of this makes me highly suspicious of most of these positive reviews, because it does not take long for anyone to notice this guy is not nice and does not care. DO NOT waste years of your life and hard-warned thousands of dollars here. We deserve better than this.

Dr. Badawi and the staff working with him are amazing. The transformation in my daughter's teeth and the confidence she now has can't be described in just a few words. They have been great thru the process, explaining every step, what to expect and reassuring when they could see my daughter was a little scared or worried. I highly recommend Smile Elements - you always leave with a smile (really you do).

I can't say anything bad about the service here. Odd to review a orthodontist but they deserve it. The staff are all super friendly. They were incredible flexible on the payment plans and after 2 years I still feel like a valuable and important client. Friendly service, very professional, convenient use of technology, flexible plans, top notch equipment, a nice modern office and attention to client needs. What more do you need. Full 5 stars!

Dr Badawi is treating my 3 children right now and I have nothing but great stuff to say about his work and the staff! The Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Badawi is very particular with his treatment, and makes sure it is done right! He doesn't take any shortcuts! He is a wonderful orthodontist and I highly recommend him.

Everyone at Smile Elements are so nice and extremely professional! They are very accommodating with appointment times as well as payment plans! I have wanted to fix my crossbite for most of my adult life and am finally able to do it easily with the help of Dr. Badawi and his team! Highly recommend!

Our family had a similar experience as The previous reviewer (whom I do not know). If you enjoy being talked down to and having your concerns arrogantly dismissed then this is the ortho for you. We are now having to spend thousands to complete treatment elsewhere due to this clinics special brand of “care”. My simple advice to you is to avoid this place. Seriously.
