This campground is a little gem. Neat and tidy, surrounded by hiking trails and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. What really makes this place special are the people who run it. Doug and Mel are the friendliest, most welcoming hosts. They made us feel right at home. They have managed to find a great balance between being friendly and welcoming and running this campground efficiently. They are a big part of what makes this place so great. Highly recommend.

Found this campground on my way to Prince Rupert port from Canadian Rockies. Checking in was a breeze and the staff was approachable, she even drove to direct me where my tent spot is. I was given a spacious tent spot surrounded by wildflowers. Wifi is a available and bathrooms are well-maintained. I had no coins to use for paid showers but the staff was generous to hand a couple of looneys. Overall I had pleasant stay and would camp here again.

Would love to be able to talk about my wonderful stay but unfortunately I can't. Less than 48 hours before arrival I was sent an email stating that my reservation was canceled because they are not accepting tent campers due to not wanting to clean and open facilities. Honestly that part I could understand, however, while making the reservation months ago they did not mention that it was even a possibility that they would not be opening facilities and the rezo might be canceled. There was no disclaimer on the website or any city pages at the time. One would hope that a business would have the forsite to let people know about such things ahead of time

Good camp area. The woman manager runs a clean tight operation. They open at 7 am gates and close at 11 pm. Showers are 1. If you need to leave earlier you must inform her with advance notice. The common room is covered with electric. Area to do your dishes also. Do think that unserviced and tent should be same pricing though as same spot in campground.

Well maintained. Spacious sites, our site had lilac hedges for good privacy. Excellent trail system. Spectacular scenery

Beautiful, clean and well kept campground and RV park. Private (Code Key) hot showers, flush toilets and WiFi all included with your site. The managers are very kind and hospitable, treated me like family while I was camping their. They are also from the area so they can provide you with lots of information and things to do in the region. Campgrounds are walking distance to town with lots of amenities and nature trails on the river.
